Connect recognises that Modern Slavery is a crime and a violation of fundamental human rights. This includes slavery, servitude, forced and compulsory labour and human trafficking, all of which have in common the deprivation of a person’s liberty by another.
Connect recognises and will abide by the Modern Slavery Act 2015. It adopts a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, human trafficking, all forms of servitude and forced and compulsory labour.
Connect requires that all organisations and individuals with whom it engages ensure that their goods, materials and labour-related supply chains are:
- Fully compliant with the Modern Slavery Act 2015;
- Clear, transparent, accountable and auditable;
- Free from ethical ambiguities
