He has over 15 years of experience advising fund managers, administrators and vendors on maximising the impact of technology and data within their business operations. Complemented by an unrivalled depth of knowledge in the technologies servicing the private capital markets industry. He specialises in technical advisory, business intelligence, data strategy, system integration and operating model refinement.

Max is an expert in private capital market technology best practice. He has designed and delivered numerous innovative data driven solutions that generate value for industry leading firms, including the Connect platform. He joined the team in 2015 and focuses on leading our data strategy and software development practices.
Jess Shepherd
Director of Platform Services
Jess leads our professional services team. She specialises in advisory and delivery services for the alternative investment industry. She has particular expertise in portfolio monitoring and fund accounting software. Since joining the team in 2015, she has worked with various clients. She has end to end project experience across sectors and asset classes that include Private Equity, Energy and Venture Capital.
Abigail Lewis
Director of People and Culture
Abi joined the business in 2018, bringing with her nine years of experience of technology solutions in the alternative investment industry. With significant experience in all areas of project delivery, Abi now focuses on large middle and back office projects. In an advisory, analysis and data migration capacity. In addition, she leads a team of consultants providing induction into the company and training to new joiners.
Robert Cartledge
Director of Strategic Consulting
Robert began his career as a mergers and acquisitions lawyer in one of the world’s largest law firms. He focussed on a broad mix of public and private mergers and acquisitions transactions. With a passion for technology, he joined our senior management team in 2019. He now leads the practice’s consultancy offering, working with senior leaders and front office users to define and build technical solutions that drive value creation.
